Pondera County Health Department offers vaccinations by appointment and walk-ins. Flu and school vaccination clinics occur at specific times throughout the year, as well.
We welcome anyone in the community in need of immunizations for themselves and/or their children to take advantage of this important service.
We bill insurance for those who have it and we offer the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program for those that are uninsured or if insurance does not cover the cost of vaccinations. Ask us about Healthy Montana Kids (HMK) Health Insurance coverage, too.
Child Care & Immunization Rules
Montana DPHHS provides information about immunization rules in Montana regarding children entering licensed child care facilities. This information is for parents/guardians, child care staff, and healthcare providers including requirements, forms, and resources.
Immunizations During Pregnancy
Tuberculin (TB) Skin Testing
Tuberculin testing checks for a history of tuberculosis exposure. Because the skin test is first administered and then read 48-72 hours following, two appointments must be made. Please call for an appointment or with questions.
To request a copy of an immunization record, please contact our office. Also, if you have an immunization record or shot card that you want to make sure is included in imMTrax, Montana’s Immunization Information System (IIS), submit a copy to our office.
